The
Guardian ad Litem Volunteer Association is a voluntary, non-profit
organization. Its purposes are: ·
To sponsor and/or fund in-service training for GAL volunteers. ·
To promote public awareness and recruitment of GAL Volunteers
through forums and seminars. ·
To stage fund raising events for GAL programs. ·
To provide funds for specific children’s services not funded by
other appropriated funds. The Guardian
ad Litem Volunteer Association is incorporated under Chapter 55A, General
Statutes of North Carolina. It is a
tax exempt organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue
